GIRLS LEADERSHIP CAMP // AUGUST 5-9, 8A-3P
The Leadership Studio is excited to present the Girls Leadership Camp, a dynamic program designed for young women entering 8th and 9th grades from Atlantic City and Pleasantville. Offered at no cost, this camp focuses on developing essential leadership skills, job readiness, and social-emotional intelligence. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, mindfulness practices, and community-building activities, gaining tools to become confident leaders. Additionally, eligible campers will have the opportunity to shadow and support the Kids Yoga Camp the following week, gaining valuable work-ready experience that can be added to their resumes for future job or college applications. Join us for a transformative week that nurtures resilience, empathy, and a strong sense of self.

KIDS YOGA CAMP // AUGUST 12-16, 8A-12:30P
Join us for an engaging Kids Yoga Camp, open to children entering 1st through 4th grades from Atlantic City and Pleasantville. This no-cost camp offers a unique opportunity for young campers to explore yoga, mindfulness, and wellness practices in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through playful yoga sessions, creative activities, and relaxation techniques, children will develop body awareness, focus, and emotional balance.

MELISSA LUNA
Melissa Luna was born and raised in Atlantic City, and is now a dedicated professional in the field of education, specializing in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and character development. Melissa holds a master’s degree in education, with a focus on Social Emotional Learning and Character Development. Her journey in education began with five impactful years as a kindergarten teacher, where she honed her skills in early childhood education and classroom management. Currently, she serves as a Social Emotional Learning Teacher Coach for the Atlantic City School District. In this role, she develops and implements comprehensive SEL programs, trains and supports teachers, and promotes a holistic approach to education that addresses students' social, emotional, and academic needs. Janelle Bonanno
Janelle Bonanno is an attorney with over 15 years of experience in the video games industry, specializing in the power of play. She has dedicated her career to demonstrating how the childhood ability to play together is a life-long skill that can foster cooperation, sportsmanship, and resilience—essential life skills for both children and adults. Holding a Juris Doctorate, Janelle has worked extensively with multiple mental-health and childhood foundations and non-profits, mentoring young professionals and students to enhance their interpersonal leadership and communication skills, whether on the playground or in the boardroom. Inspired by her six-year-old daughter and her time off working as a full time mother, her recent work in schools and local communities has only strengthened her commitment to creating nurturing learning environments. Through her efforts in local public schools and summer outreach camps, she has dedicated her past experience into promoting the importance of physical wellness, mental health, and helping our children grow into confident, resilient leaders. |
